Catherine is an experienced corporate lawyer who has a particular focus on advising entrepreneurs, management teams and investors of venture backed, high growth companies. Her practice has involved supporting clients across a broad sector focus, including Technology, Life Sciences and Clean Tech.

Catherine has significant experience in venture funding, private equity, joint ventures, private mergers and acquisition transactions and corporate restructuring. Catherine also advises on shareholder agreements, implementation of growth share schemes, shareholder/board disputes and emergency bridge financing. Her regular clients are often management teams of private limited companies whom she advises from incorporation to exit.

Alongside conducting her client work, Catherine has given training to the BVCA on Introduction to Venture Capital and training to Castrol Ventures on Investor Directorships.

  • Advised Indra Renewable Technologies Limited on its Series A fundraise to Clean Growth Fund and Gulf Oil
  • Advised Takeda Ventures on a number of UK investments
  • Advised Corin Group on an international acquisition from Tornier (France) and acquisition of Optimised Ortho and PSI (Australia)
